We are a new organization so each and every (tax-deductible) donation is needed and valued. Your donation will allow us to continue offering classes that provide community, and a platform for the actresses to have their experiences heard and valued. Your donation will help fund production costs, teacher salaries, administrative costs, field trips for the participants (like the BCA) and more importantly will allow us to continue our commitment to pay each actress that performs in a Girl Talk Theatre production. As with any theatre company sometimes a creative choice can lead to a request for an unusual item needed. Keep an eye on the GIRLCHAT page of the website for requested items. You never know when we might be putting out a request for 20 feather boas or may a couple of purple wigs! Oh yeah, we might also need some mundane things like a computer or chairs. Either way it’s a win - win situation because you get rid of an unwanted item and we are able to find what we need!!! Not to mention the tax-deductible part as soon as we have our 501c3 (expected by May of 2008).

In our culture, time is probably the most valuable commodity a person can give. You may decide to volunteer so you can help our program - because if you think we are under staffed and over worked, you are right! But we promise you that if you come to give, you will receive more than you can imagine. The ladies you will be working with are fun, generous, talented and feisty. You will always leave energized and full. We need help with performances, receptions and field trips. If you prefer a quieter atmosphere, we also need help with the administrative work that builds the foundation for what we do. Whatever you decide to do- you will find that the return on your investment of time will be huge. Thank you for your interest in volunteering.
